Greetings Member-Partners!

Just a quick note to let you know that League is featured in today's "Report on Business" section of the Globe and Mail. Here's the the link to the story. It's rewarding to see members of the media recognize the unique character of our private, member-driven investment model.

Equally interesting to me, however, is the column running next to our story (in the print version). According to the Globe's "REIT Watch" list, the year-to-date total return of Leagues private REIT is outperforming every public REIT on the Globe and Mail's REIT Watch list! As of our May 1st re-valuation, (posted on the Updates page of League's website), the IGW REIT's total annualized return for the last quarter is 15.56%. The annualized return since January 01, 2007 is 16.58%, which includes your cash distribution plus an 8.3% increase in the unit value to date.

I may be biased, but I think it speaks volumes about the power of aligning management's interests with that of the investors through a positively-interdependent compensation structure, and investing with a like-minded and like-tempered group of well-informed Member-Partners. I don't know about you, but my family will never invest any other way again. As a fellow Member-Partner looking to secure enduring Intergenerational Wealth™ for them, I'm glad League exists as much as you do.

Which reminds me, I also want to let you know about League's updated website. Some of your fellow Member-Partners are now prominently featured and were kind enough to submit family photos and let us post their testimonials for all to see (more are still coming!).

A fellow Member-Partner, Catherine Morrison, was good enough to volunteer to conduct interviews to collect these true stories. To all of you who opened up your lives to Catherine, so she could share your stories with the rest of us, I want to thank you sincerely for your trust and your friendship. I hope your stories will inspire others as they inspired me.

Before I sign off, I just want to call your attention to one more important fact that should never be forgotten: Although it is Adam and I who are featured in this story about League, the real story happens every day behind the scenes with the help of our legal, auditing, valuating, financing, development, and property management partners, and most of all, as a result of the continuous efforts of our dedicated staff.

They are the ones crunching the numbers, minding the pennies, and manning the phones to make League work for your family. I hope very much that you appreciate them as much as Adam and I do, and I hope even more that you let them know you do personally. They are great people and I'm extremely proud of them.
