More Good News from SegDebt 1:
Another Extra Payment on the way!

Dear Member-Partners investing in the SegDebt 1 LP,

Keep an eye on your bank account, because on October 5, you'll be receiving an additional payment.

This is because we've sold another portion of the Canadian mortgage-backed securities investments held by the SegDebt 1 at a considerable price increase. This payment will be 90.54% of your initial contribution and will be treated as a combination of return of capital (32.77%) and appreciation (57.77%). For example, on an original investment of $100,000, you would receive $90,540.

So far, including this latest special distribution, you have received five payments. Taken together, the total payout on SegDebt 1 following the October 5 special payment will be 166.67% of your initial investment. This means that on an original investment of $100,000 you will have received a grand total of $166,670 since last April. Please note that this amount does not include your regular monthly distributions that you have been receiving since June 2009.

After this most recent payment, the remaining amount in SegDebt 1 is 29.16% and future distributions will be still be around 15% of the remaining units.
