EAGLE LANDING SOARS!
Thursday, September 9, 2010
Dear Member-Partners and Friends,
I am pleased to report that Gracorp Capital Advisors Ltd. (Gracorp), a sophisticated institutional investment group, is joining LEAGUE and its joint-venture partner, the Squiala First Nation, in financing the Eagle Landing Retail Limited Partnership that is developing our brand new big box retail centre in Chilliwack, BC.
An affiliate of Gracorp has invested alongside our Member-Partners by matching our Member-Partners' investments dollar-for-dollar, and thereby closing out the capital raise for this phase of the project. As a result, the Limited Partnership will have 25% ownership. Gracorp, through its affiliate, will have 25% ownership, and the Squiala First Nation will retain its 50% ownership.
In essence, Gracorp, with its extensive experience and millions of investment dollars at its disposal, came to the same decision as you did about the bright future of Eagle Landing. We are especially pleased to have attracted a co-investor of this calibre. This is a strong vote of confidence in this project that we launched a little over a year ago with our joint venture partners, the Squialas.
When fully developed, Eagle Landing may well be one of the largest unenclosed shopping centres in British Columbia. As stated in previous announcements, construction is well advanced, and in addition to major tenants such as Walmart, Cineplex Odeon, and The Home Depot, many smaller retailers including Dollar Giant, Salad Loop, and Booster Juice, have already signed on.

Warmest regards,
Emanuel F. Arruda Founding Partner LEAGUE Financial Partners
