Founders' Tour a Big Hit! Wednesday, August 4, 2010 LEAGUE's second annual Founders' Tour went coast to coast and gave everyday folks a chance to see and hear what LEAGUE is all about.Covering thousands of kilometres and involving hundreds of people from all walks of life from all across Canada, from all accounts, LEAGUE’s second annual Founders' Tour was a big hit! LEAGUE Co-Founding Partner Adam Gant says, “When I think about the distance we covered and the people we met, I was most impressed. We had both Member-Partners and people who were just interested what we were all about stop by. To me, that’s a huge compliment.” Over April, May, and June, the tour featured stops in Victoria, Vancouver, Chilliwack, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Oakville, Kitchener-Waterloo, Toronto, Ottawa, Moncton, and Halifax. Member Services Manager (MSM) Peter Lorentsen, who accompanied LEAGUE’s co-founders Gant and Emanuel Arruda to Moncton and Halifax, was particularly pleased by the number of people who just stopped by and said how impressed they were by what they saw and heard. He says, “They felt good about meeting the people who actually run the business and came away feeling they really cared about producing results for the Member-Partners.” Kate Broste, another MSM who accompanied Gant and Arruda on much of the tour, says the best part was meeting people face-to-face, instead of being "just a voice on the phone. That makes all the difference to me." That face-to-face connection, says Arruda, made the whole tour worthwhile. “It wasn’t so much about enrolling new Member-Partners, which we did, as it was re-connecting with old ones. And, rather to present our very special concepts of Intergenerational Wealth and Member-Partnership to as many people as possible. I can't wait to go back out and do it all over again!” |
